Nosara B&B Retreat
Located in walking distance to the beach in Playa Pelada, this eco friendly hotel is surrounded by a verdant forest and gardens. It can host retreats and offers daily yoga classes, cleansing and nutritional counseling, ceremonies, temascal, in house massages and spa services. There’s a nursery for local plants and organic products, which they use for the complimentary breakfast.
Every room has a private bathroom fitted with a bathtub or shower, fans, single and double bed, some have a kitchen and a terrace or balcony. You can also rent private villas. There are hammocks in the corridors facing the garden. Pets are allowed and no extra fee is charged, but you must bring all your friend may need to be comfortable.
Selina
Selina’s concept comes from the new era of digital nomads, people looking for a place with a sense of community either for their new adventures or coworking spaces. All that, with a good wifi connection. Selina Nosara is beautifully designed, with wooden decks, palm roofs, hanging lights and surrounded by jungle. Perfect for surf or yoga lovers, backpackers and adventurers.
There are options for every budget: 12 and 8 bed dorms, standard, twin, triple and quadruple rooms, deluxe rooms and rock star rooms. Selina has a bar, swimming pool, restaurant, movie room, yoga deck, garden, shared kitchen and shared lounge, gift shop, surfboards and lessons. Also there’s usually live music and activities. Pets are allowed in the private rooms and an extra fee of $10 is charged, but you must bring all your friend may need to be comfortable.
La negra
La Negra is a beachfront hotel, with a trail through the jungle that gets you to the best surfing spot on Guiones beach. Great for surfers and adventurers, it’s located close to all the shops and restaurants, but in a quiet place. They have an on site surf school, by Costa Rican certified surf instructor Juan Carlos Flores Rugama..
They have 9 rooms for 2 people each, some with a terrace or private patio, and a house close to the hotel that can be rented as a whole. There’s a pool, a restaurant, abar, and a yoga studio open for guests with daily group and private classes. Kids under 15 years old are not allowed. Pets are allowed and no extra fee is charged, but you must bring all your friend may need to be comfortable, also you need to know that other animals live in the property in case your pet doesn’t get along with other animals.
Casa Rosada
Within walking distance to the beach, Casa Rosada is close to everything, the restaurants, shops, markets, yet surrounded by nature. There are cabinas or more spacious apartments in the main building. A minimum of three days is necessary to book.
The cabinas or apartments are for up to 4 people, with kitchen, fan, towels, private bathroom safety box, a/c, and some come with a terrace. There’s a swimming pool, bbq facilities, shared lounge with hammocks and exercise equipment. Pets are allowed and a $10 extra fee is charged, you must bring all your friend may need to be comfortable.
